How to kill Pharaoh Ants (Sugar Ants, Piss Ants) with 15+ Strength Manuka Honey
If there is anyone out there trying to kill Pharaoh Ants ( Sugar Ants) infestations and live in the UK, here is what I found is the best method of getting rid of them.
We tried using Borax to poison the Pharaoh Ants
We tried Borax and honey this didn't work so well, because we were having problems with the ants coming from many different areas of the flat, it seems the ants had infested the complete block and food was available else where in others flats, so we were under siege.
Rentokill's Poison and Trap Product
We bought Rentokill's Pharaoh Ant poison and trap solution, the only trouble was the Pharaoh ants were not interested in the bait used with this poison ( d-PHENOTHRIN), so I decided to do it myself and improve the bait used, therefore I bought something I knew the ants would not be able resist, a £10 jar of Manuka 15+ Honey from New Zealand. You can buy Manuka honey from any good health food stores.
Do not buy your honey from the supermarkets , its is mostly inactive Bacterially Dead Honey.
Manuka Honey and Pharaoh Ants ( Sugar Ants)
Using live honey meant the ants could not resist, supermarket honey didn't really do what was needed. One week after the special Rentokill and Manuka honey mix all the ants are gone, so much for being told they were impossible to get rid of.
